Inquiries, Changes or Cancellations
Any inquiries, changes or cancellations must be made by contacting Rough Creek Lodge & Resort at 800-864-4705. Some cancellations require written notice; please see Cancellations or Reductions in Service, below.
Payment
Payments can be made using Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover or Diner’s Club.
Gratuities
Gratuities for Bell Staff and Wildlife Staff are discretionary unless noted that they are included within the packages. Gratuities for Food and Beverage Staff, Equestrian and Spa Staff are automatically added for your convenience.
Check in
Check in time is 3:00 p.m. and our checkout time is 11:00 a.m. Changing facilities, showers and luggage storage are available for early arrivals and late departures.
Resort Fee
Many activities including use of the Fitness Center, Swimming Pool, Whirlpool, Golf Driving Range, Tennis Courts, Mountain Bikes, Wireless Internet, Guestroom Welcome Basket, Nature Trail, Playground, Aqua Cycle and Lakeside Fishing are added as a Resort Fee in the guest accommodation pricing. Charges for Spa Services, Hunting, Wobble Trap, Sporting Clays, Five-Stand, Horseback Riding and any guided services are additional. Please consult the Recreation page for pricing information on our full list of activities.
Spa Services
All Spa Services require a 24-hour notice for cancellations. Unless we receive such notification, you will be billed the full cost of your reserved services.
Weather
All activities are subject to availability and are not guaranteed. Rough Creek Lodge & Resort Staff may cancel activities if weather conditions warrant. Activity cancellations must be made 2 hours prior to avoid being charged in full. Rough Creek Lodge & Resort does not offer “Rain Checks” due to weather.
Transportation
Ground transportation to and from Rough Creek Lodge & Resort can be coordinated in advance and will be charged accordingly.
Babysitting
Babysitting can be arranged prior to your arrival at an additional cost.
Pets
Kennel Boarding
Rough Creek offers kennel space for your dogs. If you are planning to bring your pet, please call in advance. We must receive veterinary documentation that all shots are current and include Kennel Cough inoculation. $50 per night per dog includes kennel space, feeding with high-quality food and twice a day cleaning.
Inroom
Rough Creek Lodge has a limited number of rooms to accommodate your pet. If you plan to bring your pet, please call in advance. In-room pets must be less than 40 pounds and kept in a pet carrier.
Your pet is to always be attended to while in your Guestroom. Pet-sitting services can be arranged for $10 per hour with a four-hour minimum. Any pets that disturb other guests due to excessive barking or similar activity will be asked to kennel the dog in our covered kennel.
Housekeeping will not enter the room to clean or perform turndown services unless the pet is out of the room or is crated.
While on Rough Creek Lodge grounds, your pet must be on a leash. Pets are not allowed in the Main Lodge, Terrace, Pool, or Spa areas.
Owners are responsible for pet clean up. Do not use areas near the Main Lodge, Guestrooms, Beretta Room, and other guest areas. Please take your pet to the area west of the tennis court.
A $250.00 charge will be assessed at check-in and the front desk must be notified prior to your arrival. Any damages above $250.00 will be charged at time of checkout.
A pet towel is provided for cleaning. Do not use bath towels for this purpose. Pets are not allowed on any beds. We provide a mat for pet use. Do not use bed linens, towels, or the comforter as pet bedding.

Weddings
Guest Accommodation Rates and Fees
The Guestroom Accommodations Pricing is a per-room per-day charge. Guestroom rates are subject to applicable sales tax. The Guestroom price includes the Guestroom and breakfast for two adults. The price does not include other food outside of breakfast for two adults, beverage, resort fees, special audio-visual equipment, audio-visual technician services, any special items, events, rentals or entertainment.

Rooming lists are to be received 30 days prior to your program.
Check in
Please advise your guests that our check in time is 3:00 PM and our checkout time is 11:00AM. Early arrivals and late departures will be accommodated whenever possible. Please see the Front Desk Manager or consult with the Wedding Manager if arrangements are needed.
Event Specifications, Audio-Visual and Outside Vendors
Banquet rooms are allocated based upon availability and capacities. We reserve the right to change groups to space suitable for attendance with prior notification. The use of any outside vendor or production company requires advance written approval by Rough Creek Lodge. Charges incurred by an outside vendor or production company are the responsibility of the client signing the contract.
Audio-Visual capabilities include state-of-the art audio-visual equipment, featuring built-in rear projection screens with high-resolution video/data projector and 35 mm slide projector. Each banquet room also has access to VHS VCR, overhead projector, paper pad easels, microphones (including wireless lapel type), and full sound system if needed. All audio-visual equipment is operable at the touch of a button on the banquet room wireless remote. (Additional specialized equipment can be provided at a nominal fee. Audio-Visual technicians are charged at an hourly rate.)
If you ask Rough Creek Lodge to arrange outside vendor services, the charges for these services are solely at the discretion of the provider. In turn, Rough Creek Lodge will pay for these services in your name for a 20% coordination fee. The charges plus the coordination fee will be added to your final bill. All wedding rentals will be coordinated with the Wedding Manager.
Food & Beverages
All food and beverage functions must be coordinated in advance with your Wedding Manager. Private dining arrangements are limited and subject to availability. Private areas are not committed unless specifically requested at time of booking. Menu items may change due to seasonality and availability. Significant changes to a planned menu (including location or service style), within 21 days of the scheduled event will incur additional charges.
All food and beverage prices and incidental charges are subject to a 21% service charge and applicable tax.
Banquet Event Orders (if applicable) may become a vital and necessary document initiated by the Wedding Manager and provided to Client Name when finalizing menus, logistics, diagrams and billing specifics for approval and signature. The Banquet Event Order updates the most recent details of the upcoming banquet event based on verbal conversation and e-mail correspondence, and does not negate the original contract. Rough Creek Lodge is not responsible for banquet event details or information not included on the Banquet Event Order(s).
To ensure food, beverage and event planning, a 21 day guarantee is required and the guarantee represents the minimum billing. If the guarantee is not given, the agreed attendance figures will be the guarantee or the actual number of guests attending the event, whichever is greater.
Rough Creek Lodge allows for only a 5% food overage based on the final guarantee. Final banquet billing (based on Banquet Event Orders) will be posted to the credit card on file fourteen (14) days prior to the event. If a credit card is not available, another form of payment will be due at this time. Non-payment and/or no response to BEO(s) submitted for signature constitutes cancellation. Cancellation terms apply inclusive of the forfeiture of deposit and, if applicable, liquidated damages.
Please note: Rough Creek Lodge does not order food or finalize event plans until Banquet Event Orders have been signed, approved and final billing has been executed.
The use of alcoholic beverages not provided by Rough Creek Lodge is strictly prohibited.
Cancellation or Reduction of Services
Groups acknowledge that Rough Creek Lodge will suffer damages in the event that those Groups cancel or no show. These damages occur as a result of Rough Creek Lodge having had to turn away guest room nights, meetings and functions, generating revenues from the sales of these items for Rough Creek Lodge during the time the rooms and/or space was being reserved for this Group’s exclusive use.
Rough Creek Lodge will reserve in the name of your Group Guestroom nights, meeting and function space for food and beverage events as outlined herein. Should these arrangements cancel, that Group agrees to pay Rough Creek Lodge the following liquidated damages within thirty (30) days of cancellation:

This contract is considered legally binding when received by Rough Creek Lodge with your signature or when deposit payment is received from the guest or firm.

Guest accommodation and CMP package rates
The Complete Meeting Package is a per person per day charge and includes: Guestroom, Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Meeting Room with two sessions (AM/PM) during normal business hours, Two Full Coffee Breaks, Continuous Beverage Service, and Standard Audio-Visual Equipment. These rates are subject to local and state sales tax and resort fee.
The price does not include special audio-visual equipment, audio-visual technician services, any special items, events or entertainment.

Residential Policies
Rough Creek Lodge maintains a strict non-smoking policy. Outdoor seating is available on porches and balconies where smoking is permitted. Any infringement on this policy will result in the assessment of damage fees. To avoid unexpected charges, please inform your group of our policies and ask them not to smoke inside their sleeping rooms, meeting rooms, or public areas.

Hunting
Hunting Policies
Rough Creek Lodge & Resort requires a 50% deposit at time of booking when scheduling a hunt. We enforce a 14 day cancellation policy for ALL hunts. No refunds are made for cancellations made within the 14 day cancellation policy and cancellations will result in full payment of hunt.
